Amends New York City Administrative Code to provide surviving spouses or domestic partners of deceased Metropolitan Transportation Authority members with health insurance coverage rights.

Surviving spouses or domestic partners may enroll in the same health insurance plans available to retirees and their dependents, including coverage under the Hospital and Medical Program for the Aged and Disabled.

Surviving spouses or domestic partners must pay 102 percent of the group rate for coverage, with the additional 2 percent designated to cover administrative costs.

Enrollment in coverage must occur within one year of the member's death.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
