Amends Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-b to allow certified physical therapist assistants to provide physical therapy care in addition to licensed physical therapists, when referred by an authorized physician.

Physical therapy care may be rendered by either a duly licensed physical therapist or a certified physical therapist assistant upon physician referral.

Requires that records of patient condition, progress, and treatment instructions be maintained by both the physical therapist and physician and submitted to the chair as required.

Takes effect sixty days after becoming law.
