Requires social services officials to request information from the Division of Criminal Justice Services for each public assistance applicant to determine wanted felon or probation/parole violator status.

Establishes authorized persons (commissioners of social services or their designees) who may request and receive wanted felon and probation/parole violation information by submitting a sworn statement to the Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Denies public assistance eligibility to applicants identified as probation or parole violators until they verify restoration to supervision, release from custody, or expiration of their maximum period of supervision.

Authorizes social services districts to recoup benefits paid to individuals who become ineligible due to false statements about their wanted felon or probation/parole violator status and knew or should have known the statement was false.

Takes effect on the one hundred eightieth day after enactment, with authorization for agencies to promulgate necessary rules and regulations immediately.
