Adds Suffolk County probation officers to the list of public employees eligible for dispute resolution procedures under Civil Service Law Section 209, allowing their disputes with public employers to proceed to impartial arbitration.

Excludes disciplinary procedures, investigations, and eligibility and assignment to details and positions from the arbitration procedures for Suffolk County probation officers, which remain governed by other applicable law.

Applies immediately upon enactment, with provisions expiring and reverting according to existing sunset dates in Civil Service Law Section 209.
