Authorizes Lois J. Reid to collect ordinary disability retirement benefits from the New York state and local employees' retirement system for the period June 19, 1992 through March 1, 2003

Reid must file a written request with the state comptroller within one year of the act's effective date to receive benefits

Reid was employed by the Erie County Youth Board (March 6, 1970) and the New York Department of Social Services (May 16, 1985) and was a system member for approximately 17.5 years

Reid was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome in 1990 (later identified as a symptom of mitochondrial disease diagnosed March 1, 2011) and declared totally and permanently disabled by both New York state and the Social Security Administration

State bears all implementation costs, estimated as a one-time payment of approximately $127,000
