Authorizes the assessor of the town of Islip to accept a late real property tax exemption application from the Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders Association Long Island Chapter Inc. for tax years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012

Applies to property located at 41-45 Park Avenue, Bay Shore (district 500, section 393, block 02.00, lot 091.001) conveyed to the organization on June 20, 2011

Permits the assessor, with town board approval, to grant exemption from the date of property acquisition if the organization meets eligibility requirements under section 420-a of the real property tax law

Allows the town to refund taxes already paid and cancel any unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, or interest at its sole discretion if exemption is granted

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
