Authorizes the Village of Ellenville to extend the optional twenty year retirement plan under Section 384-d of the Retirement and Social Security Law to six named police officers: Michael Jeter, LaMark Logan, Daniel Persell, Christopher Rosa, Robert Ross, and Vanessa Nixon-Tomlin, who missed the original enrollment deadline through no fault of their own.

Requires the Village of Ellenville to file a resolution with the state comptroller by December 31, 2012, certifying that these officers did not fail to apply due to their own negligence.

Allows the six police officers to elect coverage under the twenty year retirement plan by filing a request with the state comptroller by June 30, 2013, and entitles them to all associated rights and benefits.

The Village of Ellenville must bear all past service costs associated with the plan, estimated at approximately $100,000, which may be amortized over ten years with first year costs of approximately $13,500.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
