Authorizes the towns of Lodi and Ovid in Seneca County to elect a single town justice to preside over both town courts instead of maintaining separate justices.

Requires that both towns have completed a study pursuant to section 106-b of the Uniform Justice Court Act, held public hearings, and adopted joint resolutions approving the consolidation plan.

Abolishes existing town justice positions in both towns of Lodi and Ovid.

The single elected town justice will begin presiding over both town courts following the next general election in such towns and will serve for the elected term.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
