Department of Mental Hygiene shall develop and administer a web-based acute psychiatric bed registry to track available beds in public and private inpatient psychiatric facilities and residential crisis stabilization units

Registry must include descriptive information and contact details for every psychiatric facility and crisis stabilization unit in the state

Registry must provide real-time information on available beds, patient types that may be admitted, security levels, and other relevant details to help community services boards and psychiatric facility employees identify appropriate placement options

Community services boards and psychiatric facility employees can search the registry to identify available beds appropriate for individuals meeting temporary detention criteria

All state facilities, community services boards, behavioral health authorities, and private providers licensed by the Department must participate and update bed availability information at least daily; designated individuals at each facility must serve as points of contact for registry-related inquiries
