Nancy Porretto, currently a Tier VI member employed by Bedford Central School District, may be reclassified as a Tier IV member with a membership date of September 1, 2005 (her original appointment date).

Porretto must file an application with the state comptroller on or before December 31, 2014 to receive Tier IV status and all associated rights and benefits.

Porretto is required to make all employee contributions required of Tier IV members and no contributions shall be returned to her under this act.

Bedford Central School District must pay all past employer costs, including an estimated one-time past service cost of $5,950 and approximately $3,000 in increased annual contributions.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
