Amends Executive Law Section 844-b to broaden the committee's focus from evaluating "Triad Programs" exclusively to studying and evaluating effective responses to crime against elderly persons more broadly, including but not limited to "Triad Programs"

Expands the committee's authority to consult with experts, service providers, and representative organizations engaged in elderly protection beyond just state police, county sheriffs, and local law enforcement

Authorizes the committee to recommend development of programs that assist elderly persons in avoiding criminal victimization through coordinated efforts of state and local law enforcement agencies and elderly service organizations

Empowers the committee to recommend policies and programs to assist law enforcement agencies with implementation of crime prevention initiatives, including training, prevention standards, and technical assistance

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
