Amends the Agriculture and Markets Law to add senior participation in community gardens as a goal for a state task force studying community garden expansion and development.

Defines seniors as individuals aged 62 years or older and directs the task force to encourage cooperation with community-based organizations to increase their opportunities to participate in community gardens.

Requires community garden groups to assist and cooperate with senior centers and organizations that provide or distribute food to the elderly, poor, and disadvantaged.

Authorizes sharing of surplus community garden food or other agricultural products from gardens to local voluntary food assistance programs serving seniors and other vulnerable populations.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
