Creates a not-for-profit corporation called the "Amsterdam Firefighters' Benevolent Association" composed of professional firefighters employed by the city of Amsterdam fire department in Montgomery County, excluding those removed for cause without reinstatement.

Establishes purposes including promotion of fraternal association, study of fire-fighting methods, relief and aid to disabled or indigent members and families, and welfare of the fire service, with power to purchase and hold property.

Requires the Amsterdam Professional Firefighters' Union secretary to call an organization meeting within three months of enactment, with notice posted in five conspicuous places and published in local newspapers at least ten days prior.

Vests control of the corporation's funds and property in a seven-member board of trustees consisting of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and three other trustees elected annually.

Authorizes the association to collect foreign fire insurance premium taxes under Insurance Law sections 9104 and 9105, with the city of Amsterdam required to pay over any such monies in its custody; taxes must be used only for fire department purposes.

Takes effect January 1, 2015.
