Each local social services district must prepare an annual report describing the average monthly caseload per child protective services employee, to be published by June 30th beginning in 2014.

Reports must be delivered to the Governor, Commissioner of Children and Family Services, and relevant legislative committee chairs, and made available on the local district's public website.

Reports must include total numbers of non-supervisory and supervisory full-time CPS employees, paraprofessional staff, average monthly caseloads by employee type, and the number of non-supervisory employees with average monthly caseloads exceeding 15 cases.

Reports must also document hiring and termination data, civil service tests offered during the fiscal year, the size of hiring lists, and explain steps the district is taking to reduce average caseloads.

Subsequent annual reports shall include comparative data from up to five prior fiscal years if available.
