Extends the time period for participants to request conciliation from seven to ten calendar days after receiving notice of failure to comply with work requirements, regardless of assistance type.

Changes the time period for individuals to provide medical documentation from four business days after examination to ten calendar days from the date of notice informing them of the opportunity to provide documentation.

Replaces references to health care practitioners "certified by the office of disability determinations" with those "licensed to practice in New York State" for medical evaluations and exemption determinations.

Allows districts to require work-limited participants to continue assigned work activities consistent with documented medical limitations while re-evaluation of employability status is completed.

Eliminates the separate federal work participation rate for safety net families with children and consolidates federal participation rate requirements into a single fifty percent rate for all families and ninety percent for two-parent families.
