New York City Police Department must submit an annual report to City Council detailing criminal complaints and arrests on subway lines and bus routes operated by the MTA, categorized by crime class.

Report must cover violent felony offenses, assault, sex offenses, disorderly conduct, harassment, aggravated harassment, and offenses against public sensibilities as defined in the Penal Law.

Criminal data must be broken down by police precinct, specific subway line, subway transit division, and bus route, with separate tabulations for MTA employees, passengers, and other non-employees.

Statistics must be compiled monthly and annually in electronic format, transmitted to the Department of Records and Information Services, and made publicly available on their website within 90 days of the law's effective date, with monthly updates thereafter.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
