Amends Retirement and Social Security Law Section 110-c to allow retired members to authorize deductions from their retirement allowance for membership dues in not-for-profit membership organizations of retired public employees.

Retired members may execute a deduction authorization card with the comptroller at any time after retirement to authorize these deductions.

The comptroller shall deduct the authorized membership dues from the retirement allowance and transmit the funds to the designated retired organization.

The authorization continues until the retired member revokes it in writing.

The act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
