Establishes a New York State Physical Fitness and Activity Education Campaign under the administration of the Department of Health Commissioner to promote physical fitness through public education and outreach.

Campaign will use social and mass media including internet, television, radio, and print advertising to increase public awareness of the health benefits of physical fitness and activity.

Campaign will recruit professional athletes, fitness experts, and celebrity advocates from media, music, and entertainment to serve as public ambassadors for the fitness message.

Campaign will target seniors, youth, and other high-risk populations on a statewide basis.

Funds for the campaign may be distributed by the Commissioner without requiring a competitive bid or request for proposal process.
