Each local social services district must prepare an annual report describing average caseload per month for child protective services employees, published by June 30th beginning in 2014.

Reports must include comparative data for up to five prior fiscal years when available and be delivered to the Governor, Commissioner of Children and Family Services, relevant legislative committees, and published on the district's public website.

Reports must specify total non-supervisory and supervisory full-time CPS employees, paraprofessional staff numbers, average active cases per employee by supervisor status, and number of non-supervisory employees with monthly caseloads exceeding 15 cases.

Reports must document CPS employee hiring and turnover during the fiscal year, civil service tests offered, hiring list sizes, and the district's planned steps to reduce average caseloads.

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment.
