Amends Social Services Law to require written comments from local social services districts to be included in child fatality reports prepared by the Office of Children and Family Services.

Mandates the Department forward proposed reports to each referenced local social services district 30 days prior to public release.

Allows local social services districts 20 days to provide written comments, which must be included within the final report.

Maintains existing requirements that reports include cause of death, services provided, circumstances, and recommendations for administrative or policy changes.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
