Authorizes the town of Brookhaven assessor to accept a retroactive tax exemption application from the Long Island Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Health and Human Services Network, Inc. for the 2013-2014 assessment roll

Application covers real property located at 7 Crossway Blvd., Patchogue, NY 11772 (Suffolk County Tax Map Number 0200-973.00-01.00-007.019)

Requires the assessor to review the application as if it had been timely filed by the taxable status date, subject to town board approval

Authorizes the assessor to grant tax exemption from the date of property conveyance, cancel any unpaid taxes, fines, penalties and interest, and repay any amounts already paid by the organization

Act takes effect immediately upon enactment
