Increases funding for City University of New York (CUNY) community colleges' general maintenance and improvements from $15,628,000 to $20,131,000 for capital projects in 2014-15

Increases funding for State University of New York (SUNY) community colleges' general maintenance and improvements from $32,129,000 to $113,305,000 for capital projects in 2014-15

Expands eligible uses of capital funds to include acquisition of facilities and new facilities programs, in addition to alterations and improvements to existing facilities

Adds specific capital projects across multiple SUNY community colleges including construction of new learning commons at Niagara Community College ($24,000,000), downtown campus development at Monroe Community College ($13,212,000), and renovation projects at Fashion Institute of Technology ($36,000,000 total)

Effective immediately and retroactive to April 1, 2014
