Requires the Division of Veterans Affairs to conduct a study on homeless veterans in New York state, in consultation with the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Department of Labor, and Office of Children and Family Services.

Study must analyze the number of homeless veterans currently homeless or homeless within five years of active duty release, broken down by gender.

Study must collect data on the number of children of homeless veterans and their current placements, as well as unemployment rates for New York state veterans.

Written report must be delivered to the Governor, Speaker of the Assembly, and Temporary President of the Senate by June 30, 2017, with updates every two years thereafter.

Report shall be publicly available and posted on the Division of Veterans Affairs website.
