Department of Mental Hygiene shall develop and administer a web-based acute psychiatric bed registry to track available beds in public and private inpatient psychiatric facilities and crisis stabilization units statewide

Registry shall include descriptive information and contact details for every psychiatric facility and crisis stabilization unit, with real-time data on bed availability, patient admission types, security levels, and other relevant clinical information

Community Services Board employees, designees, and psychiatric facility staff shall have access to searchable registry to identify appropriate facilities for individuals meeting temporary detention criteria

State facilities, Community Services Boards, Behavioral Health Authorities, and licensed private providers must participate in the registry and designate a point of contact to submit and update information at least daily

Act takes effect 180 days after enactment
