Proposes constitutional amendment to section 7 of article 5 allowing courts to reduce or revoke pensions of public officers convicted of felonies committed in direct connection with their official duties.

Permits pension reduction or revocation only after notice and hearing by an appropriate court, with court decisions based on severity of crime and proportionality to the offense.

Requires courts ordering pension reduction or revocation to direct payment of pension portions to innocent spouses, minor children, and dependents based on financial need, and to return the officer's contributions except where conditioned on restitution payments.

Defines "public officer" to include elected officials, gubernatorial appointees, county/city administrators, department heads, judges, and designated state/local policymaking employees.

Applies only to crimes committed on or after January 1 following voter approval of the amendment and does not abrogate existing statutory pension reduction provisions.
