Office for People with Developmental Disabilities must submit a comprehensive waitlist and placement report to the Senate and Assembly by January 1, 2017, and every six months thereafter.

Report must include statewide waitlist data broken down by geographic area, individual age, caregiver age, and placement type (certified out-of-home, supervised, supportive, non-certified, or home and community-based services).

Report must detail placements made in the preceding six months, including individuals placed from the waitlist and those placed outside the waitlist with reasons for placement.

Report must include data on individuals currently in inadequate residential situations awaiting alternative placements, failed placements, placement costs by type, funding sources and remaining balances, and five-year projections of placement needs.

Report must include a plan for meeting out-of-home residential placement needs and any other information the Commissioner deems necessary.
