Adds "veteran status" as a protected class under New York's Executive Law, defining veterans as individuals who served in active military service during wartime, received a disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs or Department of Defense, or received specific military expeditionary medals, and were not dishonorably discharged.

Expands employment discrimination protections to prohibit employers, employment agencies, and labor organizations from discriminating against individuals based on veteran status in hiring, compensation, terms of employment, training programs, and recruitment materials.

Extends housing discrimination protections to prevent landlords, real estate brokers, and property owners from denying or discriminating in the sale, rental, or lease of housing accommodations, land, or commercial space based on veteran status.

Includes veteran status in public accommodations protections, preventing discrimination by places of public accommodation, educational institutions, fire departments, and credit providers based on veteran status.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
