Amends Executive Law Section 624 to expand eligibility for burial expense reimbursement to include businesses represented by a person, in addition to individuals.

Allows businesses to receive reimbursement for burial expenses of victims who died as a direct result of a crime.

Maintains existing restriction that reimbursement is limited to burial expenses only, unless the claimant qualifies for other awards under separate eligibility categories.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment and applies to all claims filed after the law becomes effective.
