Amends chapter 454 of the laws of 2010 to extend the pilot residential parking permit system in Albany by changing the authorization period from four years to six years after local law implementation

Modifies section 3 of the existing law governing the vehicle and traffic law provisions for Albany's residential parking permit program

The extended six-year period begins upon implementation of the local law or ordinance adopted by the city of Albany pursuant to vehicle and traffic law section 1640-m

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
