Amends the Uniform Justice Court Act to allow town boards of two or more contiguous towns within the same county to establish a single combined town court with justices elected from each town.

Provides an exception for the towns of Erin and Chemung in Chemung County, allowing them to establish a single town court without the requirement that towns be contiguous.

Allows the court merger procedure to be initiated by town board action or by petition signed by at least twenty percent of registered voters in the affected towns.

Requires that the number of justice terms expiring in any one year may not exceed by more than one the number of terms expiring in any other year.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
