Expands entities required to check the Justice Center's register of substantiated abuse or neglect cases to include overnight and summer camps for children, residential health care facilities, certified home health agencies, and adult homes.

Limits inquiries of current employees, administrators, consultants, interns, volunteers, or contractors to once per six-month period.

Requires certain providers (those defined in section 424-a) to follow guidelines established by the Justice Center's executive director when determining whether to hire individuals listed on the register.

Exempts facilities and provider agencies from making inquiries under section 424-a if they are already required to deny an application based on the Justice Center register check under article eleven.

Takes effect 60 days after becoming law.
