Authorizes the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to extend Section 384-d optional retirement plan participation to police officers Timothy GaNun and Jason DeVirgilio, who missed the deadline due to reasons not attributable to their own negligence.

Allows the two officers to elect coverage under Section 384-d of the Retirement and Social Security Law within one year of the effective date and receive full associated rights and benefits.

Port Authority bears all past service costs associated with the retirement option change.

Estimated annual cost increase of $9,500 for fiscal year ending March 31, 2017, plus one-time past service cost of $37,600 (payment due February 1, 2017).

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
