Legislature approves state acquisition of five parcels totaling approximately 295 acres in the towns of Indian Lake and Arietta (Hamilton County), including subdivisions at Utowana Preserve with waterfront on Utowana Lake and easement rights for Marion River Way access.

State relinquishes claims to 20 disputed parcels totaling approximately 837 acres in Township 40, Long Lake (Hamilton County) along Raquette Lake, including Woods Point (212 acres), Watch Point (44 acres), Pine Point (3.6 acres), Bluff Point (160 acres), and other named locations.

Attorney General must approve title and deed form for lands conveyed to the state; Commissioner of Environmental Conservation certifies title vesting before state releases all rights to disputed parcels.

Parcels conveyed to state include non-exclusive easements for administrative access and private road use, with specific reservations for road access to adjacent properties and riparian rights for Utowana Lake.

Act takes effect immediately upon filing of survey maps by Department of Environmental Conservation with the legislative bill drafting commission.
