Office for the Aging shall develop and update yearly a guide for businesses containing best practices for retaining employees who are informal caregivers, in conjunction with the Department of Labor and in consultation with community-based organizations representing informal caregivers.

The guide shall include information for supporting informal caregiver employees to achieve effectiveness both in and out of the workplace.

Guide shall be available on websites of the Office for the Aging, Department of Labor, and Department of State, with paper copies available upon request.

Businesses obtaining certification or licensure from the Department of Labor or Department of State shall receive a link to the guide or paper copy upon request when applying for such certification or licensure.

Nominal fees may be charged for paper copies provided to individuals who are not business owners.
