Fish wholesalers that sell, offer for sale, transport, or transact in the purchase or sale of fish for human consumption and package fish in sealed containers must clearly label containers with the fish's identity, weight (or standard measure or numerical count), the shipper/packer/distributor name and address, and state of origin

Exempts fish wholesalers from marking requirements on individual items if net weight is stated on a written invoice and shipping container, except where new labeling requirements apply

Requires fish wholesaler labeling provisions to comply with and be implemented in accordance with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to fish

Takes effect 180 days after the bill becomes law, with rules and regulations for implementation to be completed by the effective date
