Amends Section 422-a of the social services law to add a new subdivision 8 providing liability protection for disclosures of child abuse and neglect investigation information

Protects city and county social services commissioners from prosecution under Section 422 subdivision 12 when they disclose information on a good faith basis

Applies notwithstanding any other provision of law that would otherwise restrict such disclosures

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
