Amends New York City Administrative Code Section 14-122 to exclude police officers who use hearing assistance devices from the definition of "disabled" for purposes of relief from active duty.

Clarifies that police officers capable of fully performing police duties with a hearing assistance device cannot be relieved from active patrol duty on disability grounds.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
