Commissioner of Education shall establish a procedure requiring school districts to report compliance with physical education instruction requirements in all public elementary schools

Reports must include: schools lacking adequate PE facilities, spaces not being used for PE and reasons why, student capacity versus enrollment in PE, schools without certified PE teachers, schools not providing required class time for PE, and schools in violation of PE requirements

School district superintendents must prepare and have their board of education publicly review and approve a corrective action plan if any school in their district fails to meet PE requirements, with implementation to begin the following school year when practicable

Department of Education shall post a list of school districts failing to comply with reporting requirements on its website

Commissioner shall report findings, data analysis, and recommended steps to ensure public school PE compliance to the Governor, Senate President, Assembly Speaker, and education committee chairs by July 1, 2017
