Requires health insurers to cover follow-up ultrasounds for breast cancer screening when a physician recommends the procedure and determines a patient has extremely dense or heterogeneously dense breast tissue

Amends insurance law sections 3216, 3221, and 4303 to add coverage requirements for this ultrasound screening across different insurance plan types

Applies to all health insurance policies and contracts issued, renewed, modified, altered or amended on or after the effective date

Takes effect 60 days after the bill becomes law
