Increases the threshold for fire district board sales of surplus property requiring a resolution with permissive referendum from $50,000 to $100,000, with a minimum floor of $20,000.

Increases the threshold for fire district board sales of surplus property without any proposition or resolution from $10,000 to $20,000.

Allows surplus apparatus or equipment proceeds to be used toward new apparatus purchases without requiring a separate proposition if the new apparatus is being purchased without submission of a proposition.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
