Establishes a multidisciplinary investigative team program within the Department of Social Services to investigate reports of suspected elder abuse or maltreatment.

Grants social services districts discretion to determine which categories of elder abuse cases their teams investigate, with emphasis on physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.

Requires multidisciplinary teams to include representatives from adult protective services, law enforcement, district attorney's office, banks, financial institutions, forensic accountants, medical providers trained in elder abuse, mental health professionals, and victim advocacy personnel.

Mandates that core investigation team members from adult protective services, law enforcement, and the district attorney's office participate in joint interviews and conduct investigative functions consistent with their respective agency missions.
