Authorizes the Nassau County assessor to accept a retroactive real property tax exemption application from Jain Samaj of Long Island, Inc. for property located at 158 Plainview Road, Hicksville, for parts of the 2014 assessment roll and the entire 2015 assessment roll

Requires the late application to be reviewed as if it had been received by the taxable status date deadline, notwithstanding normal filing deadlines

Permits the assessor, with Nassau County Legislature approval, to correct the assessment rolls if the organization qualifies for exemption under section 420-a of the real property tax law

Allows the applicable governing body or tax department to refund taxes paid and cancel unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, liens, or interest at its sole discretion if the exemption is granted

Takes effect immediately upon enactment
