Adds a new subdivision to Criminal Procedure Law Section 2.10 granting peace officer status to ambulance medical technicians, ambulance medical technician supervisors, ambulance medical technician coordinators, and bureau directors employed by the Nassau County Police Department's police ambulance services.

Extends peace officer status to assistant bureau directors of police ambulance services within the Nassau County Police Department.

Prohibits persons granted peace officer status under this subdivision from carrying, possessing, repairing, or disposing of firearms unless they obtain an appropriate license pursuant to Penal Law Section 400.00.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
