Amends Civil Practice Law and Rules Section 3215(g)(1) to require that when notice of a court application is required but not given and judgment is entered, the affected party may apply to vacate the judgment.

Grants an application to vacate judgment when proper notice was not provided, provided the party acted with due diligence after learning of the judgment's entry.

Applies to any application made on or after the bill's effective date, which is immediate upon enactment.
