Allows vehicles to travel in designated bus lanes in mixed residential and commercial zones outside of rush hours, provided the vehicle is at least 250 feet ahead of any bus and promptly exits the lane.

Defines rush hour as 6 a.m. through 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. through 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, or as designated by the local transit authority during peak bus service periods.

Takes effect 90 days after becoming law.
