Allows existing business corporations to convert to professional corporations or design professional service corporations for practicing professional geology before March 1, 2018.

Requires converting corporations to amend their certificates of incorporation to include names and addresses of shareholders, directors, and officers, plus statements regarding continuation of corporate existence and compliance with professional practice regulations.

Mandates that licensing authorities certify all shareholders, directors, and officers are authorized to practice geology and of good moral character, and that the corporation obtain tax clearance from the Department of Taxation and Finance.

Permits existing limited liability companies to convert to professional service limited liability companies for practicing professional geology under the same requirements, including licensing authority certification and tax clearance.

Extends the effective date of geology licensing provisions to March 1, 2018, while the bill itself takes effect immediately.
