Amends Insurance Law Section 2101(g)(1)(B) to expand the definition of who qualifies as an adjuster for accident and health insurance claims.

Permits officers, directors, regular salaried employees, and managers of health insurers and health maintenance organizations to adjust claims on behalf of municipal cooperative health benefit plans certified under Article 47 of the Insurance Law without requiring separate adjuster licensing.

Treats claim adjusters working for municipal cooperative health benefit plans the same as those adjusting claims within the same holding company system.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
