Amends Chapter 719 of the Laws of 1982 to allow union free school districts (as defined by education law) to use state lands in Suffolk County transferred to the Town of Islip for hospital, park and recreation, municipal office, or educational purposes.

Authorizes the New York Institute of Technology and its successors to sell and convey all lands described in Section 2 of the original act without restriction, provided fair and reasonable consideration is paid to the State of New York as determined by the Commissioner of General Services.

Maintains existing restrictions prohibiting use of lands transferred to the United States for overnight housing or custody of prisoners or detainees.

Allows the Commissioner of General Services, with Town of Islip approval via town board resolution and receipt of fair and reasonable consideration from the New York Institute of Technology, to amend, modify, or delete stated purposes and deed covenants and restrictions.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
