Authorizes the Peconic Land Trust to apply for real property tax exemption for a parcel at 19 Private Road in Mastic Beach, Brookhaven (tax map number SCTM #209-8-1-15) for the 2014-2015 assessment roll.

Allows the town assessor to accept and review the application as if it were filed by the applicable taxable status date, notwithstanding the actual filing deadline.

Permits the assessor to grant tax exemption from the date of property acquisition if the Land Trust acquired the property between assessment roll dates and would otherwise qualify for exemption.

Authorizes the town board and tax department to refund any taxes already paid on the property, including amounts held in escrow at sale, and to cancel any remaining unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, or interest.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
