Authorizes the Nassau County assessor to accept a retroactive real property tax exemption application from the Hindu Welfare Association of New York, Inc. for the property located at 729 South Oyster Bay Road in Bethpage (Nassau County parcel ID section 46 block 370 lots 1A, 1B, 18, and 19).

Permits the assessor to review the application as if it had been filed by the taxable status date for part of 2014 and full year 2015 general assessment rolls, and the second half of 2013-2014 and full year 2014-2015 school tax year assessment rolls.

Requires approval from the Nassau County legislature before the assessor may grant the exemption and make corrections to the subject tax rolls.

Authorizes the applicable governing body or tax department to refund any taxes already paid and cancel any unpaid taxes, fines, penalties, liens, or interest in its sole discretion.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
